Tequila Sunrise
Orange juice and tequila with a grenadine sunrise sinking to the bottom.
Ingredients
- 2 oz tequila
- 4 oz orange juice
- 1/2 oz grenadine
- Ice
- Orange slice and cherry to garnish
Steps
- Fill a tall glass with ice.
- Add the tequila and orange juice and stir gently.
- Slowly pour the grenadine down the inside of the glass so it sinks to the bottom.
- Garnish with an orange slice and a cherry. Do not stir again so you keep the sunrise look.
Make it a mocktail
Leave the alcohol out. Leave the tequila out. Orange juice with a grenadine sunrise looks just as pretty.
