Maple Old Fashioned
Bourbon sweetened with maple syrup, with orange and cherries. Cozy and smooth.
Ingredients
- 2 oz bourbon or rye
- 1/4 oz maple syrup
- 2 dashes bitters
- Ice
- Orange peel
Steps
- Stir the maple syrup and bitters with the whiskey over ice.
- Stir until cold.
- Express an orange peel over the top.
Make it a mocktail
Add a non alcohol swap. Use zero proof bourbon, or stir maple syrup into cold black tea with an orange peel.
